About us
The family-owned company is now run by Mattias Jensen, the third generation to lead the business. IPUR has its roots in Hjo Bakelit AB, a company founded as early as the 1950s. In the 1980s, the company took a significant step forward when Mattias’ father, Hans Jensen, began developing and casting products in polyurethane, a material that would soon become the core of their operations.
“Even back then, we attracted customers from the automotive industry, a segment that remains our largest market today, where we have built a strong reputation for quality and reliability.”
With several decades of experience in polyurethane production, we have developed a deep understanding of the material’s unique properties. This expertise allows us to quickly identify the right solution for each customer’s needs, from concept to finished product. Our extensive knowledge in this field enables us to work efficiently and with high precision, providing our customers with reliable and durable results that meet their requirements and expectations.

– For us, there are almost no limits to what can be done with polyurethane. We can manufacture everything from a pair of Crocs to parts for wind turbines. We are more inspired by doing what no one else has done before. We are very familiar with the material and know what works and what doesn’t.
